Training on static ranges have various limitations. The limited ability to perform tactical maneuvers safely in the absence of stress is a huge downfall. At BDS we eliminate those limitations by training in our state- of- the- art force on force simulator which allows for realistic training. The simulator gives the opportunity for an individual to experience a violent encounter in a controlled environment. These violent encounters are used to test an individual’s skills, quick decision making and tactics while under extreme stress. The simulator has low light capabilities, the ability to induce weapon malfunctions and changing scenarios as they progress based upon decision making of the student to teach shoot no shoot situations. Skill builders to enhance and improve your speed and accuracy, all while in a mobile safe environment. Post simulator training allows the student to apply skills learned in the simulator on the live fire range.
The simulator is a safe place to educate our youth in the awareness and responsibility of firearm ownership. History, various types and basic functions of firearms are taught for free by our friendly BDS staff. Youth experience marksmanship and safe firearm handling which after successful completion of simulator training can then with parent approval transition to live fire practice.
